We have limited stock of the ethanol 96%, glycerol 98% and hydrogen peroxide 3% needed and a limited stock of bottles. 137 Gin are providing labour elements for production on a voluntary basis so there will be no costs taken from this.
The aim is to provide local services free of charge. Any remaining would be offered to the community at cost, and any funds raised will be used to buy materials for continued production of this product or in the case that national hand-sanitizer production catches up with demand, all of the additional funds will be split donated to charity.
With hand-sanitizer now in short supply for local emergency services, care-homes, GPs/hospitals, and other vital services, 137 Gin are now producing WHO-approved hand-sanitizer for the local community.
We're so very proud to say we’ve now distributed our first batch within the community.
From the Fairclose Centre meals on wheel service, Adult Social Care at West Berkshire Council and care homes like Walnut Close in Thatcham and Willows Edge and Birchwood in Newbury. News is travelling fast so we’re building a database to manage the requests.
If you are in a position to assist us with covering the costs of materials for the ongoing production, please head over to our donations page. Quite honestly, we have been blown away by the local support and generosity we have received so far.
Stay safe and a big thank you to all of you!
